Our Farm-to-School program partners with Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) to bring fresh, local produce from farms within 150 miles directly to the cafeteria. TTUSD feeds over 2,400 public school children daily, and their commitment to scratch cooking allows them to incorporate seasonal ingredients into their meals. This not only provides students with nutritious, locally sourced food but also supports our regional farmers. Additionally, we collaborate with Tahoe Forest Hospital for their "Harvest of the Month" program, introducing children to a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, helping foster healthy eating habits from a young age.
