Farm to Market Program

Farm to Market Program

Our Farm-to-Market program bridges the gap between small-scale producers and larger market opportunities, playing a vital role in strengthening our local food system. Through our wholesale market, Harvest-to-Order retail market, and Farmacy shop, we offer farmers multiple avenues to sell their fresh, sustainably grown produce. We provide marketing support, crop planning assistance, and other essential services to help farmers thrive. By connecting local growers with wider markets, we ensure that more people in our community have access to healthy, locally sourced food while supporting the livelihoods of our region's farmers.

Our Farm Network

Our farms are located within 150 miles of Lake Tahoe, primarily in Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, Yuba, Butte, and Sutter Counties. By working with these regional farms, we bring you the freshest, most sustainably grown produce while supporting local farmers and reducing food miles. Our partnerships with these growers ensure that our community has access to seasonal, high-quality fruits and vegetables all year long.

How a Non-Profit Food Hub Works

A non-profit food hub operates as a vital link between local farmers and the community, ensuring that fresh, sustainably grown food reaches the people who need it most. Our Farm to Market programs generates earned income that covers their operational expenses and helps fund our other impactful initiatives.

Each of our programs is designed to support farmers by paying them a full, fair price for their products. This commitment not only sustains local agriculture but also promotes environmentally responsible farming practices that nurture the land and our communities.
