Fig & Cardamom Honey Whiskey Sour

 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 1-2 figs 

  • 1 ounce of Blue Sage Cardamom Honey or honey of choice and ½ teaspoon of cardamom

  • 1.5 ounces of whiskey 

  • 1 ounce of lemon juice 

  • Optional egg white or sweet vermouth float


Instructions

  1. Muddle honey, figs, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker

  2. Add ice, whiskey, lemon juice and optional egg white and shake vigorously 

  3. Double strain into a short cocktail glass with ice 

  4. Optional: float 0.5 ounce of sweet vermouth on top and serve 

  5. Garnish with a fig or lemon wedge
